Rivers of Life Community Church was birthed into Pastors Travis and Melissa’s heart March 2002.  After much prayer and seeking the Lord, they were led to start ROLCC.  They were determined to fulfill the call of God on their lives in Granite City and to present the gospel of Jesus Christ in a clear Biblical way to this community and surrounding areas.  Knowing that the Lord had equipped them with the necessary tools to love and help people to find their way to a life of salvation, joy and victory in Jesus Christ~Rivers of Life was Born.

Rivers of Life Community Church was birthed into Pastors Travis and Melissa’s heart March 2002.  After much prayer and seeking the Lord, they were led to start ROLCC.  They were determined to fulfill the call of God on their lives in Granite City and to present the gospel of Jesus Christ in a clear Biblical way to this community and surrounding areas.  Knowing that the Lord had equipped them with the necessary tools to love and help people to find their way to a life of salvation, joy and victory in Jesus Christ~Rivers of Life was Born.

On July 23rd, 2002 Rivers of Life Community church had their first service at the Ramada Inn on Route 111 with 13 people.  After a short time of experiencing God’s outpouring in the Ramada Inn, the church moved to a building on Maryville Road.  The Lord blessed, and the church grew.  On Easter Sunday 2003, the Lord led us to the property at 990 Wanda Road in Granite City, IL.

In 2008, we moved to 3237 West Chain of Rocks.  We were blessed to purchase a new, 12,200 square foot building, with 3 acres of land, where ROLCC was able to grow and build.  This facility housed ROLCC and Rivers of Life Christian School that was previously ministering in St. Louis, MO.

God was blessing and doing MIGHTY things at the River!  In 2012, we moved yet again, to 3131 E. 23rd Street, to a 32,000 square foot, multipurpose building.  ROLCC is one of the fastest growing Multicultural churches in Granite City, IL.  This building currently houses Rivers of Life Community Church and Rivers of Life Christian School. Please come and experience the outpouring for yourself! BRING GLORY TO GOD

Rivers of Life Community Church is a Christ-centered, Holy Spirit-filled church.  Our goal is to bring glory to God and to reach our community and surrounding areas with the love and power of Jesus Christ.  In order to reach our goal, we are committed to equipping each person to fulfill God’s call on their life through salvation, prayer, teaching, outreach, missions, community groups, ROL Christian School.

  1. To share the faith-filled gospel of Jesus Christ to our community.
  2. To share the good news of Jesus Christ to unsaved, unchurched people.
  3. To help establish and equip believers that they may have a life of joy and victory through Christ Jesus.
  4. To teach, train and equip new believers for the work of the ministry.
  5. To be an outreach ministry helping the hurting and underprivileged people in the world.
